We are Seattle Cider Company, crafters of award-winning cider in Seattle’s SODO neighborhood. We work hard, play hard, and enjoy nothing more than kicking back with a pint after-hours in our on-site taproom.
POSITION SUMMARY
Supports the Seattle Cider Taproom kitchen operations by preparing and serving food items while maintaining cleanliness and adherence to health and safety standards. Responsible for ensuring a positive customer experience through quality food preparation and efficient service.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and portion control guidelines;
Ensure food quality, presentation, and timely service to taproom guests;
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, including food storage and handling procedures;
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and food prep areas, including equipment, utensils, and workspaces;
Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and communicating needs to the Taproom Manager;
Properly label and date all food products to ensure proper rotation and minimize waste;
Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries, verifying quality and accuracy of orders;
Adhere to all opening and closing procedures for kitchen operations;
Maintain awareness of dietary restrictions and food allergens, ensuring proper handling and communication to customers when necessary;
Collaborate with bartenders and taproom staff to ensure smooth service flow;
Handle kitchen equipment with care and report maintenance issues to the Taproom Manager;
Follow all company policies related to food safety, alcohol service compliance, and guest experience;
Assist with updating menu boards or printed menus as needed;
Ensure kitchen checklists are completed and documented daily;
Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions;
Assist in developing new menu items or specials as requested;
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Must be at least 21 years of age;
Prior kitchen or food preparation experience;
Valid Washington State Food Worker Card;
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays;
Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines;
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail;
Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills;
Ability to lift heavy boxes and supplies (up to 50 pounds), stand for long periods of time, and work in a physically demanding environment;
Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a dynamic and collaborative team environment.

Position Summary
Manage on/off premise sales for Seattle Cider Co. (SCC). Work closely with Frank Beer Distributing sales team to maximize distribution and sales within the state.
Responsibilities
Maintain a regular call frequency on targeting accounts. Account list to be approved by Area Sales Manager but developed by Rep working in coordination with wholesalers. Account selection focused on existing SCC accounts, high-volume lost accounts and potential opportunity accounts that will grow overall business.
Achieve sales volume budgets and distribution objectives as agreed upon in annual plan, as well as volume and distribution goals for new brand and package introductions by developing a detailed account-level plan to execute distribution targets and increase volume sell-through.
Through regular calls, develop and maintain solid customer relations, gain in-depth understanding of customer needs, acquire general market-trend knowledge, and execute business goals.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key wholesales by adding value, ensuring that SCC remains a preferred supplier.
Ride with key wholesaler salespeople to train and assist in retail execution.
Execute on-premise promotions in targeted accounts and assist with select off-premise demonstrations and samplings in accordance with local and state regulations, as needed.
Thoroughly communicate objectives, plans and results to Area Sales Manager and appropriate sales team members as directed.
Maintain regular call frequency in Milwaukee as agreed upon with Area Sales Manager.
Assist Area Sales Manager in other markets as needed (IL, WI, MN).
Serve as company representative while participating in events, festivals and sponsorship activities, to include: set-up, working the events, and tear-down.
Manage and operate within promotional, travel and administrative budgets.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
Four years of sales experience with a prior history of success.
Passion and commitment to building a brand with an entrepreneurial spirit.
Team-driven, high energy, passionate and resourceful individual with strong organizational skills.
Experience within the food or beverage industry, preferably in adult beverages.
Prior experience working with a distributor.
Excellent organizational, planning, and communication skills.
Clean driving record.
Ability to life and move up to 140 lbs. as needed.
Compensation
Salaried exempt, $57,000-$67,000/annually
Bonus potential: $14,400
