Our work is grounded in the simple, yet revolutionary belief every person should be able to live safely, openly, and genuinely in all the places we call home. This is the same belief that has guided our visionary leaders for more than three decades.
Center on Halsted is the Midwest’s most comprehensive community center dedicated to advancing community and securing the health and well-being of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) people of Chicagoland. More than 1,000 community members visit the Center every day, located in the heart of Chicago’s Lakeview Neighborhood.
Achieving equal rights for LGBTQIA+ persons requires more than throwing parades and hosting picnics. (Although, let’s be honest: We’re fabulous at both.)
Seattle Pride coordinates advocacy and allyship efforts year-round to promote diversity and inclusivity—and to call our community to action.
